Hello,
Lane Council of Governments is having a fundraiser at Original Roadhouse at 3018 Gateway Street in Springfield on Thursday, November 2nd from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. to benefit the Senior Meals Program.
When you present the attached flyer or image (either printed or on your phone), 20% of the proceeds will come back to the Senior & Disability Services (S&DS) Senior Meals Program (valid for dine-in only).
The Senior Meals Program is a nutrition wellness program which helps adults in Lane County aged 60 and up maintain their independence by providing healthy meals and opportunities to develop and maintain vital social connections. S&DS operates ten Café 60 Meal Sites throughout Lane County and provides nutritious meals, friendly visits, regular safety and wellness checks, and access to a myriad of other community-based services to seniors in their home through the Meals on Wheels program. S&DS serves more than 61,000 Café 60 meals and delivers more than 200,000 Meals on Wheels throughout Lane County each year, reaching 2,500 seniors.
Our Senior Meals Program is the ONLY program at S&DS that relies on donations and fundraising to help fill funding gaps for normal operations.
We’re grateful to Original Roadhouse for generously hosting this fundraiser for the Senior Meals Program.
We invite and encourage you to help spread the word about this event.
Thank you!
