By LEONA CHIARAPPA/for The Herald — Sweetvine sounds like a delightful addition to Oakridge, Oregon! Michelle Slaven’s journey from exploring various roles in the restaurant industry to finally realizing her dream of owning her own brick-and-mortar establishment is inspiring. It’s wonderful to see her creative spirit flourish, from running a food truck to now establishing Sweetvine in the heart of Oakridge.
Some of the baked goods look too good to eat
The concept of Sweetvine seems to be deeply rooted in community and local flavor. The vision of eventually offering a local market where customers can purchase fresh produce from farmers markets and the inclusion of EBT acceptance shows a commitment to accessibility and supporting local producers. It’s fantastic to see businesses like Sweetvine not only thrive but also actively contribute to the community’s well-being.
With its prime location in the old Cascade General building at 47781 Highway 58, Sweetvine has the potential to become a beloved hub for locals and visitors alike. It’s exciting to think about the future growth and expansion of Sweetvine, especially as it hopes to eventually be open seven days a week, catering to the diverse needs of its patrons. Sweetvine is currently open from 7 a.m. till noon, Thursday -Sunday.
