Bend’s High Desert Museum is finalist for award deemed ‘Pulitzer for the museum world’

The High Desert Museum outside of Bend has announced that it was named a finalist for the 2021 National Medal for Museum and Library Science, considered one of the nation’s highest honors for museums and libraries. The award nomination places the Bend museum dedicated to the nature, history and culture of central Oregon among the very best in the country. The Oregonian has the full story here.
