Beneficiary Travel 30-Day Timely Filing Rule Starts June 9, 2023

The extension granted by Congress to allow for filing travel pay claims submitted more than 30 days after the appointment date will expire on June 9, 2023.
Veterans, please remember that proof of attendance is required for all community care claims, and claims could be denied for lack of proof. This sometimes occurs when non-VA care providers do not return medical records in a timely fashion, so please ask the provider to do so without delay.
