GEORGE CUSTER/Editor  —  Not to worry, “Transformers” have not invaded Oakridge. These giant cranes from Michels Power are part a project to replace the old Bonneville Power Authority (BPA) lines that run between Hills Creek Reservoir and Lookout  Point Reservoir.

Tyler, who works for Michels, said that the lines go back to the 60’s and are in need of replacement due to age. He said the project will take a couple of weeks before they move closer to the Lookout Point station.

Michels Power is the contractor performing the work for BPA.
