The City of Westfir is accepting applications for appointment to two vacant positions on the city council.
One is for the council position vacated by Randy Stark. It will be up for election in November 2024.
The second opening is for the seat vacated by Thalia Lerin. It will be up for election in November 2022.
Council terms would begin immediately for appointees. Applicants must be registered voters and must have resided within the city for at least six months prior to appointment. Interested parties may submit a letter of interest for consideration by city council prior to the Aug. 2 regular meeting.
