The term of office for one director in Lane Electric Cooperative’s Oakridge District will expire on May 24, and 1 p.m. Thursday is the deadline for applying for the three-year term. The board’s nominating committee is accepting applications from co-op members “who have an interest in their communities and feel a civic responsibility to their neighbors.” The committee will form a slate of candidates to presented to members in a May election.
