By CATHY LEONARDO/Correspondent/The Herald — Reopening of the Cascade Foothills Library in Dexter has been delayed again because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the summer reading program will take place on Tuesdays between June 29 and Aug. 3.
“Tails and Tales” is the theme of the program in which families pre-register and drive through to pick up packets with a craft, snack and book to take home, library board members decided during an April 13 meeting.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. Volunteers and patrons will be required to wear a mask and to social distance to participate.
Community members can gain access to the library by calling 541-927-2625 and by leaving a message. A volunteer will establish a time for the visit.
