Oakridge Food Box volunteer Kaye Collins of Westfir has put out a call for volunteers to help at the Aug. 14 Keg & Cask Festival, the community’s annual event that raises funds for the charitable food pantry.
Those who can step up can call her at 541-782-3688 or 541-510-2592.
“We will work out times and duties with each volunteer,” Collins said.
The family-friendly one-day event, held in the historic Uptown business district of Oakridge, is in its 13th year. It is essentially a street fair where craft beer, Willamette Valley wines and organically distilled spirits crown a day full of live music, fun food and art.
The Oakridge Food Box is a service of UWCDC, Upper Willamette Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit entity.
