Trailing by a considerable margin in the fourth stanza, Oakridge High School’s football team didn’t buckle to the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars Friday, Sept. 8. As the visiting team attempted a last-minute play to run up their 40-6 lead, Oakridge linebacker Jonathon Miller brought the drive to a dramatic end by wrestling running back Michael Fowler (No. 21) to the turf.

Also in on the action were Warriors Colton Hamilton (No. 30) and Austin Cobb (No. 67).
