Good day dear readers,
As we approach the end of the year on this Tuesday before Christmas, please remember that The Herald has been your source for daily news about what is important to you and your community.
Please consider a generous donation to The Herald so that we may continue to deliver local news and information that matters to our Highway 58 communities. As a new one-time donor, or if you sign up for a year of monthly donations, your contribution will be matched up to $1,500 by Independent News Network (INN). INN is a nationwide organization that supports news sites such as ours. They provide a myriad of seminars, education sessions, and vital information to help independent newsrooms to not only survive, but to flourish.
As always, all of us at The Herald remember that it is you, our patrons, who make the work that we do worthwhile.
This Christmas season, as you make donations to your favorite causes, please help to keep free and open journalism alive for our rural communities.
Thank you,
George Custer, Editor
