For the third straight year, Oregon Senate Republicans boycotted their chamber, this time to protest Gov. Kate Brown’s COVID-19 restrictions. In a letter signed by all 11 members of the GOP Senate caucus, they demanded that she “immediately reopen schools because science says it’s safe” and increase the amount of COVID-19 vaccines available to seniors, especially in Oregon’s rural areas.
