EUGENE, OR—The Community Access Center, Lane County Public Health’s (LCPH) vaccine clinic at Valley River Center (VRC), is temporarily closing in order to make necessary changes which will improve the service offering and promote greater access. Sunday, October 23rd will be the final day of operation before the closure.
“While we would prefer not to close, this time is needed to to refocus our efforts on new service offerings and access opportunities,” said LCPH Communicable Disease Community Response Program Supervisor, Elizabeth Miglioretto.
The closure is anticipated to last two weeks with a projected reopening on Wednesday, November 9th.
Community members who need a COVID booster, you have until this Sunday, October 23rd, to receive it at the VRC clinic. LCPH encourages all community members to take advantage of this valuable resource before the temporary closure.
