The Lowell volleyball team lost for the first time this season, and Oakridge defeated Oakland in three sets Thursday.
Lowell and Monroe, which won three of four sets, are now 7-1 in league play.
Alexis Curry with 7 kills and 36 digs was the standout player for the Lowell Red Devils, which are coached by Kristen Prenevost.
The Oakridge Warriors beat Oakland 25-6, 25-18, 25-17. Sadie Snyder had 7 aces, 10 kills, 10 assists and 16 digs; Erika Jones had 4 aces, 6 kills and 6 digs, and Jade Snyder had 6 kills, 9 assists and 20 digs
The Warriors are coached by Allison Williams.
