UPDATE 1/18:Lane Transit District: LTD is running regular service on all routes. Ridesource has resumed service with trips being evaluated for safety on a case by case basis. Diamond Express is operating on a regular schedule. South Lane service remains canceled until further notice. Link lane in not operating until further notice due to a road closure. Lane Transit District: LTD will resume bus service at 9 am on Thursday, January 18th. Ridesource has resumed service on January 18 and will offer rides for life sustaining trips only. George Custer lives in Oakridge with his wife Sayre. George is a former smokejumper from his hometown of Cave Junction, a former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. and ran a construction company in Southern California. George assumed the volunteer duties as the Editor of the Highway 58 Herald in 2022. He loves riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, building all things wood, and playing drums on the weekends in his office.
