As the author of “Bert’s Fish’N Stuff shutters its doors”, I published the short piece without following up on the information thread I had been given. Instead, I “assumed” that the Chrisman’s had folded their business.
Evidently, that is not the case. I also attributed the information for the story to a person familiar with Mr. Schragl. I SHOULD have said that a portion of the info came from that source. Regardless, I am on the hook for this one and I learned a lesson here.
Once I’m able to contact Mr. Chrisman, I will clarify their business’ position.
