Media availability for Oregon gubernatorial debate at OSU-Cascades on Sept. 27

WHAT:
Oregon State University – Cascades, NewsChannel 21 and the City Club of Central Oregon, will host a live, televised debate featuring the three leading candidates for Oregon governor, Republican Christine Drazan, Democrat Tina Kotek and Independent candidate Betsy Johnson. WHEN:
Tuesday, Sept. 27
- 5:40 p.m. to 5:55 p.m. for news media access for still photography of candidates. No photography, videography or recording will be possible while the debate is broadcast and recorded.
- 5:30 -7:30 p.m. for live debate. Doors to room open at 4:45 p.m. No access will be permitted after 5:30 p.m.
- 7:45 to 8:30 p.m. Members of the news media will need to coordinate in advance with candidates’ campaigns for opportunities to interview candidates following the debate. OSU-Cascades will provide a venue for these interviews.

Debate: Tykeson Hall, Room 111, OSU-Cascades campus, 1500 Chandler Ave., Bend, Ore.
VIRTUAL OPTION:
Media may view the live, televised event on NewsChannel 21-KTVZ, and via livestream on ktvz.com and on the NewsChannel 21 app.
RECORDED OPTION:
A media advisory will be distributed at approximately 9 p.m. linking to a video recording of the debate to be made available via osucascades.edu/community-

PARKING:
Parking on campus is free after 5 p.m. For parking before 5 p.m., journalists in vehicles not marked with media organization logos must obtain permission which is available at no cost. To obtain a parking permit, contact Christine Coffin, director of communications at christine.coffin@
