Lowell High School’s varsity volleyball season ended Tuesday with a loss to Monroe for the league championship.
Lowell, which had suffered only one previous loss, competed well during the three sets, which ended 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.
The standouts for Lowell were Lucy Plahn with 4 blocks and 46 assists and Lydia Plahn with 6 kills and 30 assists.
The team is coached by Kristen Prenevost.
