Once again this year the Oakridge Library has Central Cascade Wilderness Passes available for check-out. These passes allow our patrons to go hiking and backpacking in the Central Cascade wilderness areas without having to get a permit or pay the permit fee. These areas are in both the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests. The length of time the passes can be checked out is from 7-14 days and are available from June 15 through October 15.
