ABOUT US

The mission of the Oakridge Booster
Club is to support opportunities for all
students in the Oakridge/Westfir School
District to participate in extracurricular
activities such as sports, music and
drama. We strive to increase fan support
and the attendance oat all
extracurricular activities as well as
encourage attendance at school events
by families and members of the
community. While increasing
participation in attendance at school
activities, we also strive to promote
values such as good sportsmanship,
fairness, excellence, pride, respect and
achievement in our students, parents,
families and fans.

George Custer

George Custer lives in Oakridge with his wife Sayre. George is a former smokejumper from his hometown of Cave Junction, a former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. and ran a construction company in Southern California. George assumed the volunteer duties as the Editor of the Highway 58 Herald in 2022. He loves riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, building all things wood, and playing drums on the weekends in his office.
