By GARY CARL/For The Herlad  —  Kevin A. Cronin, interim city administrator for Oakridge, sat down with the Highway 58 Herald for a brief visit and discovered that both he and your erstwhile reporter are both “Nittany Lions”.  That’s right, he and I both received our undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and we shared our common academic and collegiate roots.

Kevin is aware of the previous budget issues plaguing Oakridge. He intends to provide complete transparency to the budget process and keep our community informed and engaged as he and the budget committee work through this critical issue.  With this in mind, Kevin asked whether the Highway 58 Herald would be willing to coordinate with him in publishing information relating to the budget as it unfolds.  “Critical decisions will need to be made,” said Kevin, and he is intent on keeping the citizens informed and involved.
