Families are invited to drop by the Oakridge Library on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 23, for a B.E.A.R. Faire presented by the library and the Lane County Literacy Council.
The event, set for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., will involve activities inspired by children’s books, and “every child leaves with a free book,” says librarian Georgi Samuelson.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed, as required by COVID-19 safety restrictions.
B.E.A.R., by the way, stands for “Be Excited About Reading!”
