The Oakridge Moose Lodge is offering a free Halloween party for children this Saturday, Oct. 30, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the lodge.
Open to the public, the party is for kids age 12 and younger. The event will include cake walks, candy bags, hot dogs, chips and beverages, not to mention costumes of all kinds.
Oakridge entertainer Jeff Martin will be providing a magic show at about 1:30 p.m., according to Leann Baker, senior regent of the lodge.
The lodge is also planning a breakfast for veterans on Sunday, Nov. 14, and a community Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 20, she said. Details will be provided as those events near.
The lodge is at 48086 Highway 58, across from Ray’s Food Place.
