Oakridge School Board Vacancy

Due to a recent School Board resignation, the Oakridge School District invites interested community members to apply for the vacant position. The Board will appoint a candidate to serve for the remainder of the open term which expires June 30, 2023. To be eligible for appointment, candidates must reside within the district for one year immediately preceding the appointment, is not an officer or employee of the District and must be a legally registered voter in Lane County. If you are interested in serving on the School Board, please fill out the Board Vacancy Filing Form. This form can be found by clicking the link below or on the District website at Oakridge.k12.or.us, under “Menu > Our School Board/ School Board Vacancy”. The form can also be picked up at the District Office at 47997 W 1^st Street. The form can be returned to the District office or emailed to [email protected]. The deadline for returning the form is November 10th, by 4:00pm. Candidates will be interviewed and an appointment made at a the Regular School Board Meeting on November 14th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Oakridge School District Board Room at 47997 W 1^st St. If you have questions, please call (541)782-2813.
