Yes, Virginia, the Oakridge Booster Club plans to put on the community’s beloved Sugar Plus Festival this December, even though it had to be canceled last year because of COVID-19 and even though the pandemic is still going on.
The boosters announced this week that the event will be held Dec. 4 and 5 at the Oakridge Elementary School gymnasium, according to tradition. The hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m;. on Sunday, Dec. 5. Booth participants can have their questions answered by calling 541-968-8187 or by going to the Facebook site of the Oakridge Booster Club.
