2023 MCASPT Training Dates Set for April 4-5 and 27-28
In partnership with Oregon Health Authority, Lines For Life will be hosting two suicide prevention trainings in April. By educating providers on Veteran and Military-specific language and other cultural cues, as well as providing access to specific suicide prevention and intervention assessments, they hope to improve providers’ familiarity with Service Members’ needs around mental health and suicide.
Military Culture Awareness & Suicide Prevention Training for Providers is a two-day training that addresses in-depth knowledge and skills to bridge this gap between providers and Veterans who seek care. An additional two-hour practice session is strongly suggested to apply the skills learned in the training.
Both two-day sessions will be free and held virtually on Zoom. Click the link to learn more: https://bit.ly/3mTvbB4
