Oregon Firearm Safety Coalition Offering Two Free Firearm QPR Trainings

Firearm QPR Training gives Good Samaritans the basic skills to recognize the signs that a person might be at risk for suicide, teaches how to ask ‘The Question’, and how to connect a person to support if needed. These skills are easy to learn, proven to save lives, and are ESSENTIAL tools for anyone wanting to be prepared to save lives.

This FREE training hosted by Tri County Gun Club (13050 Southwest Tonquin Road Sherwood, OR 97140) is open to all community members. 78% of all firearm deaths in Oregon are suicide Firearm owners lead the way in firearm safety, now let’s lead in the fight to prevent suicide.

There are two available dates, December 1, 2022, and February 2, 2023. Both trainings will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. PT with dinner being provided. You don’t have to be a club member or a firearm owner. The more people trained, means more lives saved.
