Join us for an evening of local art, conversation and good company as we celebrate the opening of our new office in Oakridge! In conjunction with the Oakridge First Friday Art Walk, we will be hosting an open house for the Oakridge, Lowell, Westfir and surrounding communities.
Stop by and meet Heather, our Oakridge Extension education program assistant who will be providing 4-H and Family and Community Health programming in the area. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with your community and learn more about the services OSU Extension offers. We look forward to seeing you there!

George Custer lives in Oakridge with his wife Sayre. George is a former smokejumper from his hometown of Cave Junction, a former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. and ran a construction company in Southern California. George assumed the volunteer duties as the Editor of the Highway 58 Herald in 2022. He loves riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, building all things wood, and playing drums on the weekends in his office.
