By DEAN REA/Correspondent/The Herald — The passenger was hospitalized with non-threatening injuries after a westbound car traveled off Highway 58 three miles east of Oakridge at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oregon State Police report.
Melisa Achtien was transported to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield after the car traveled off the highway, over an embankment and struck two trees. The driver, Christopher Achtien, suffered minor injuries.
