Born as Patricia Mae Cobb on March 27, 1934, to her loving parents Thomas & Beatrice Cobb. She was raised in the small mill town of Westfir, Oregon where the beautiful North Fork of the Willamette River flows, with a historic covered bridge connecting it to the mill. Patty went to grade school in Westfir and later graduated from High School in Oakridge. She then married Paul Edward Parker and spent over 25 years in Eugene raising 3 children, Scott, Tracy & Andria Parker whom she is survived by as well as 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was an active member of Allison Park Christian Church and the local PTA, while working at Malabon Elementary School and later at Northwest Christian College. She was widowed in 1975 and remarried in 1983 to Burt Gewalt of Yachats, Oregon where she became active in the Yachats Ladies Club and the Waldport Community Presbyterian Church. Part of each year, Burt and Patty spent at his family home in Breckenridge, MN. Burt predeceased her in 2009. She enjoyed the Oregon coast living in Yachats, another quaint and beautiful town, until her passing on December 4th, 2024. Happiness for her multiplied with giving, which she did in so many ways, sharing her joy, compassion and love wherever she went.
*Heaven rejoicing in her return*
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
Donations in her memory can be made to the
