In case you missed it, Mike Milandin captured the eclipse through a light cloud cover on Saturday. This eerily majestic photo was taken exactly during the zenith of the event. The eclipse darkened the portion of the earth where it cast the highest concentration of shadow. Mike took this photo using the following settings on his camera: Fuji X-T5, 70mm, iso 125,f4.5. Mike is an avid camera buff who lives in the Oakridge area. All of his photos are copyrighted.
There will be another eclipse next year. However, the full effect will not be seen in our area.
