Mike Milandin took these shots a few weeks back from atop Mount June, about five mile south of Lowell. The Sisters, Mt. Bachelor, Broken Top, Mt. Thielsen, and of course, Diamond Peak can be viewed from June. The sporadic cloud cover and lingering ghosts in the valleys made for stunning compositions that were created with his lenses and filters.
From what the predictions that keep coming in say, we’ll have plenty of snow covered mountain tops for many a month to come.
