DEAN REA/Correspondent/The Herald — Pleasant Hill football players and family members had much to celebrate Friday evening.
Clear weather greeted the Billies, who honored their 10 senior football players before defeating the Harrisburg Eagles, 42-0.
The Eagles, who had dropped all three previous games, were outmanned 17-33. Friday’s win ran the Billies’ record to 2-2 overall.
The Max Smith-Jayden Casarez pass-catch combination scored early on a 20-yard pass play, and the defense frustrated the Eagles throughout the game.
The Billies scored twice during the first quarter, and the halftime score was 28-0.
Coach Joel Smith substituted freely during the second half as the Billies blanketed Harrisburg while scorings 42 points.
