PUBLIC NOTICE – Supplemental Budget Public Hearing
The City of Oakridge City Council will hold a public hearing on a Supplemental Budget to receive public comment on the proposed Supplemental Budget #1 for fiscal year 24-25 (July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025). This Public Hearing will be held at Oakridge City Hall, 48318 E. 1st Street, Oakridge, Oregon, on Thursday, September 5th, 2024 at 6pm. Citizens may attend in-person or remotely via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3664311610 (Zoom Meeting ID# 3664311610). Copies of the FY 24-25 Supplemental Budget #1 will be available for inspection at City Hall Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm starting 9/30/24 and on the City’s website www.ci.oakridge.or.us
Summary of proposed budget changes:
General Fund:
Transfer $15,000 from the Contingency line to the Computer Support/Equipment line for Caselle accounting software cost.
EMS Fund:
Transfer $14,095 from the Wages line to the Overtime line to help track overtime hours more effectively.
Increase FireMed revenue by $11,000 to account for FireMedPlus/LifeFlight subscription payments.
Create a new line in the budget to account for $11,000 LifeFlight subscription payments.
Water Fund:
Transfer $4,000 from the Oregon Savings Growth Plan (OSGP) line to the Workers’ Compensation line to cover expenses.
Transfer $7,710 from the OSGP line and $7,785 from the Contingency line to the Computer Support/Equipment line for Caselle Accounting Software cost.
Oakridge Industrial Park Fund:
Transfer $187,490 from the Reserved for Future Expenditures line to the Kokanee Way Utility Improvements line for sewer system upgrades.
Transfer $18,750 from the Reserved for Future Expenditures line to the Contingency line to account for 10% of project overhead in case costs exceed the quote.
