By GEORGE CUSTER/Editor/The Herald — What is being paid out to Oakridge city employees and paid volunteers versus what the city’s employee handbook and wage scales establish has some at the city scratching their heads.
A public records request revealed possible discrepancies which, in turn, caused the city administrator to call for Thursday’s working session.
The agenda, posted on the city’s website announcing the meeting, was left intentionally vague. None of the questions that arose during the meeting where concerns were voiced made it to the agenda. It is expected that there may be a lot more questions brought forth than answers.
The City Council Work Session will be held at the Oakridge City Hall (48318 E. 1st Street, Oakridge, OR)
