News Release Content
Lane County currently has funding for low-income Oakridge/Westfir residents to receive assistance with their utility bills. This funding is from American Recovery Plan Act (ARPA) through the Low Income Household Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and must be used by September 30, 2022. This program can pay for electric, natural gas, propane, heating oil or firewood.

If you have not received assistance from LIHEAP ARPA since October 2021, your household may be eligible. Please call 541-682-3314 or visit for more information or to get on the list for bill payment assistance.
