Restaurant review: Some Really Good Food right down the road in Fall Creek

By GARY CARL/for The Herald  —  Recently we discovered a new restaurant called “Dueling Spoons”.  It’s located at 39074 Jasper Lowell Rd. in Fall Creek and is definitely worth finding.

Billy Reid, the owner/chef is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York. He spent many years working for and training with many of New York City’s finest chefs.  Billy and his family now live in Oregon, and he is responsible for some of the best tasting food you’re going to find in all of Lane County.

On a recent Sunday morning Lynda and I visited and enjoyed brunch of Smoked salmon, spinach and fennel Benedict and a fresh mozzarella Frittata.  We were served a complimentary loaf of delicious house made Irish Soda bread with butter & jam.  A flight of four different mimosas rounded out our meal.  Prices are quite modest considering the quality of food and excellent service.

Check out their menu on their webpage  Their phone number is 541-398-8929 and reservations are strongly recommended.
