Senior Services Advisory Council Accepting New Members
EUGENE, Ore. — Senior & Disability Services (S&DS), a division of Lane Council of Governments (LCOG), is seeking volunteers to serve on its Senior Services Advisory Council.
Seniors (age 60 or older), professionals who work with seniors, and advocates for seniors or aging-related issues are invited to apply.
S&DS provides all of Lane County with a wide range of publicly funded services for older adults and people with disabilities. Council members advise S&DS on services and programs, and they advocate on senior topics.
The council also advises S&DS on its annual area plan, budget, and other administrative matters. The council holds hybrid meetings every other month (in person and online).
Membership applications are due by April 30, 2023. For more information or to request an application, call the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) at 541-682-3353 or toll free at 1-800-441-4038, email [email protected], or go online to www.lcog.org/sdslane.
