Sweetvine officially recognized with ribbon cutting ceremony

Sweetvine Cafe and Bake Shop’s official ribbon cutting ceremony was well attended on Friday. Located at 47781 Hwy 58, they are open from 7 a.m. till noon.
By JUDE ANDERSON/for The Herald  —  Friday, August 30th was a morning of celebration for the team of Sweetvine Cafe & Bake shop who welcomed civic and community members to participate in a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of their successful reopening early this summer. The event began with opening remarks by Jude Anderson, President of the Oakridge/Westfir Area Chamber of Commerce, who congratulated owner Michelle Stratis on the achievement. Notable guests who also delivered warm words of welcome were offered by Oakridge City Council members Kelly Brewer, Chrissy Hollett and Dirk “Poncho” Tarman.
Following the ceremony, coffee and refreshments were enjoyed by guests and Michelle shared the story of her entrepreneurial journey at the Chamber of Commerce monthly Greeters event.
