The Oregon Department of Revenue, in conjunction with the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC), will be auctioning off 309 income tax credit certificates worth $500 each, for a total of $154,500 in credits against 2022 or 2023 tax. These are unsold certificates remaining from the December 2022 auction.
The sale of the tax credits will benefit Oregon’s College Opportunity Grant Fund. The minimum bid is $450 per certificate. The online auction will begin on Monday, February 13, at 9 a.m. PST and will end on Wednesday, February 15, at 5 p.m. PST.
