The wildfire burning about fourteen miles northwest of Chemult grew to 41 acres on Friday and is 0% contained, according to a release from Central Oregon Fire Management Service.
The Tolo Mountain Fire, which was started by lightning, is located around three miles north of Cappy Mountain and flames are around six miles west of the Two Rivers subdivision. The Pacific Crest Trail, which is approximately 2.5 miles from the fire, was unaffected by the fire as of Friday.

As of Thursday evening, a wildfire, now surpassing twenty acres, is burning about three miles north of the Mount Thielsen Wilderness in Central Oregon.
Central Oregon Fire Info says the Tolo Mountain Fire is burning in “heavy fuel” and timber.
Two heavy air tankers, two single-engine air tankers and a helicopter are all supporting the effort to douse the fire. Ten smokejumpers are being joined by a crew from the Prineville IHC Hot Shots.
Persons in the area are advised to use caution.
